What is a breaking Blah!? As always, the Blah! Party is ahead of the pack when it comes to highlighting absurd situations in the UK. When the press and media start to take note and it becomes higher profile - that's what we call a breaking Blah!
With impeccable timing, the national press and media have recently been raising awareness on the following story:
From Monday 9th October our prisons will have only 200 spaces left. Apparently, the Association of Chief Police Officers say they have a plan in place, it's just that they haven't activated it yet! Call me old fashioned, but at what point were they going to? When 'staying at Her Majesty's pleasure' actually means having a compound in the grounds of Buckingham Palace?!
One of the Blah! Party's main manifesto points is to campaign for non- violent prisoners not to be locked up, but to perform tasks that make a positive contribution to society, be it cleaning graffiti, cleaning church yards or delivering leaflets for charity.
